Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has invoked its power under section 69A of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000, which specifies “procedure and safeguards for blocking of access of information by the public”.

The Answer is No! Phone services will remain functional. Also, the essential apps will work fine after the removal of the Mi community.

Both the Mi Community app and Online website have banned and now there is no access to both of them!
